She asks Janu for tutoring sessions and requests that he appoint her as the class representative, arguing that Kotomo, the other candidate, is too focused on popularity and lacks the necessary assertiveness to handle difficult situations.
While Janu is speaking with Fareeda, Kotomo arrives to discuss the same position. Fareeda aggressively tests Kotomo’s ability to handle hypothetical conflicts, ultimately undermining Kotomo’s confidence and causing her to leave the room. Despite Fareeda’s attempts to manipulate Janu into endorsing her, Janu remains firm, insisting that he will not choose the representative himself and that she must earn the position by gaining the support of her classmates through genuine engagement.
