At the school, Kio and Oki discuss rumors of a hysterical woman, whom Chinaka describes as half-naked and disoriented, running through the school and claiming Janu's office as her own. Shortly after, Janu approaches Oki and insists on speaking with her in private. Despite Oki’s initial reluctance and clear annoyance, she follows Janu outside to a secluded area.
Janu explains that the woman in his office—Anju Usagi—is essentially a version of himself and Juna from another reality. Oki, though deeply unsettled and exhausted by the mounting complications of these interdimensional anomalies, recognizes the validity of Janu's observations. Janu confesses his fear regarding Anju’s intense, painful psychological breakdowns and asks Oki to help by allowing Anju to stay at her family’s home, as he believes the quiet environment would provide the stability Anju desperately needs.
Though Oki is frustrated by being dragged into Janu and Juna's "otherworldly mess" and expresses concern over her sister's strict adherence to their parents' house rules, she ultimately agrees to speak with her sister on Anju's behalf. Oki clarifies that she is doing this out of basic human empathy for Anju’s suffering rather than as a favor to Janu, and she instructs Janu to wait for further word after Kio’s band club meeting ends.
