Janu meets with the Student Council, represented by Anii and a new first-year advisor named Fareeda Singh. Janu engages in a series of flirtatious and inquisitive exchanges with Fareeda, who remains professionally distant and wary of Janu’s reputation as a "depraved" teacher.
Once the student council members arrive, they confront a group of students—including Kio, Sora, and Nokana—who lost the drawing for the school trip to Okinawa. Anii explains that since they only have enough funding to cover one student's expenses, the participants must plead their cases to be selected. To prevent the situation from deteriorating into conflict, Janu intervenes and offers to personally cover the travel and lodging costs for Kio and Sora, while directing the student council's remaining funds to Nokana. The students are grateful for Janu's generosity, and the event concludes with Janu reflecting on the unexpected financial cost of his act of compassion, despite his hope for a fun vacation.
