Janu joins his students—Nirima, Kio, Anii, and Oki—at the Koi Café to help them plan an "epic" Halloween party for their class. The group is disorganized and bickers over the venue, potential activities, and budgeting. Kio, who is fixated on throwing an exciting event, proposes inappropriate ideas like serving alcohol or weed-infused brownies, which are promptly rejected by Nirima and Anii due to the risk of getting in trouble with the principal.
While Janu handles the drink orders, he encounters a barista named Ryu, a voice actress whose vocal range Janu recognizes from various anime and media. They share a brief, friendly interaction where Ryu offers Janu a free cookie and shares her aspirations of landing a specific acting role.
Back at the table, the planning remains stalled and unproductive. Eventually, Oki, feeling like a "useless" outsider, decides to leave the gathering. Janu is presented with a choice: leave with Oki or stay with the remaining students. If the player chooses to leave with Oki, they depart together for the bus stop, sharing a quiet moment of mutual understanding about their respective paths of self-discovery. If the player chooses to stay, they join Team Kio to continue the ultimately futile party planning, which devolves into further bickering and discussions about Marxism with the barista, Ryu. Regardless of the choice, Janu’s compassion level increases, and the event concludes as the group's planning efforts yield little to no tangible progress.
