Janu and Juna return from shopping for clothes for Anju. During their conversation, it is revealed that Dayai has established a rigid cooking roster for the household, which Janu was previously unaware of. Upon returning home, they are surprised to find Dayai already there, having left the Arts and Crafts club early due to a minor accident.
A tense confrontation ensues when Dayai discovers the new clothes and learns that Juna went shopping with Janu, deepening her feelings of jealousy and isolation. Feeling like she has been replaced by the "taller, prettier" Juna, Dayai declares her intention to move out and stay with Tora and Tuli until graduation, hoping to escape the mounting tension and her own spiraling insecurities. After Dayai leaves, Janu and Juna spend the evening together in silence, grappling with the sudden change in their living situation and the absence of Dayai.
