As they speak, Chinaka arrives and introduces herself as Janu’s "unofficial secretary." Zena identifies herself as the cousin of Hana, a girl Janu already knows. When the group moves to the main school building, they are met by an irate Hana, who is upset that Zena ignored her scripted class introduction.
The group enters the classroom, where the other students are immediately struck by Zena's appearance. Hana attempts to deliver a scripted, lengthy introduction, but Zena rebels and speaks for herself. The tension escalates when Hana and Chinaka engage in a heated, mocking argument. The scene descends into chaos when Zena encourages Chinaka to physically attack Hana, resulting in a brief fight between the two. Janu eventually intervenes to break up the scuffle, noting that Zena seems to have integrated into his "class of misfits" quite effectively.
