Janu encounters Nokana in the common room, where she is waiting for Mori. When Mori arrives, she is visibly hostile toward Janu’s presence, prompting Nokana to attempt to stay neutral. Despite Mori's pleas for Janu to leave so she and Nokana can talk, Janu remains in the common room under the pretense of being locked out of his office. As they watch the show, Janu and Nokana bond over their conspiratorial deductions. Feeling alienated by their dynamic and unable to follow the show's plot, Mori decides to leave the room abruptly. After Mori exits, a disappointed Nokana heads toward Mori’s room to check on her, leaving Janu alone to ponder whether Mori will ever open up about what is troubling her.
