At the lake, the conversation turns toward Janu’s recent mental health struggles and the six-week period where Dayai acted as his sole caretaker. Dayai expresses lingering doubts about whether Janu regrets their current romantic relationship, prompting a discussion about the power dynamic between them. Janu eventually concedes to Dayai’s "conductor" strategy, allowing her to lead their relationship for the time being.
The mood shifts when they discuss the past; Dayai brings up a vague, lingering sense that something is missing from her life. When Janu asks if she remembers other people living with them—specifically a cousin named Juna and two pets, a chicken and a sparrow—Dayai has no memory of them, expressing confusion. The scene is suddenly interrupted by a distorted, supernatural intervention from an entity who reveals that Dayai’s lack of memory is part of a manufactured reality. The entity offers to "reunite" Janu with his lost memories and the alternate world he misses. The sequence ends in a disorienting, surreal transition that resets the date and leaves Janu confused and separated from his familiar reality.
