Summary (Click to reveal)

Following the public humiliation and exposure of her illicit relationship with her uncle, Hana suffers a complete mental breakdown. The narrative observes her isolation as she grapples with her reality, alternating between blaming herself, her uncle, and her cousin Zena. Zena confronts Hana, revealing that she discovered the affair after Hana left her phone unlocked. Despite Hana's attempts to shift the blame entirely onto her uncle, Zena remains relentless, physically and emotionally abusing her cousin while mocking her desire for validation and attention.

Zena ultimately decides against direct physical violence to avoid criminal charges, opting instead to keep the evidence of Hana’s behavior to use as a tool for permanent psychological torture. She threatens to destroy her uncle’s career and expose Hana further if she dares to speak out. The scene ends with Aisha finding a shell-shocked Hana on the ground, while elsewhere, rumors of the scandal spread throughout the school. The event concludes with Zena seeking comfort from a friend, while Janu and others reflect on the tragedy, and separate sub-plot threads involving Eruka and Omina hint at the lingering consequences of the cultural festival's events.
