The two discuss Janu’s personal relationships, with Roni teasing him about his reputation as a "harem king." Eventually, Janu agrees to accompany Roni on her scooter to a supply store to help her acquire food coloring.
Upon arriving, they encounter Juna, who helps Roni with her supplies. During the visit, the shop's lights fail, and they discover Hana is also shopping in the dark. Roni attempts to check on Hana, whose life has been in turmoil following recent public humiliation, but Hana rejects Roni’s attempt at kindness as insincere.
