Following the chaotic announcement of the Culture Festival, Janu spends his lunchtime watching anime in his office before he is interrupted by Oki. She insists that he help her find Kio, who has gone missing and is ignoring all communication. Janu reveals that he and Eruka previously searched for Kio, though they were unsuccessful because Kio intentionally hid in a remote area.
Janu eventually locates Kio leaning on a railing near the staff car park. Kio is visibly distressed and chain-smoking, struggling with feelings of inadequacy and self-consciousness regarding her recent attempt to "reinvent" herself with a new look. During their conversation, Kio opens up about her fear of being irrelevant and her anxiety over how others perceive her. Janu offers her a drink, and they share an intimate, albeit strained, moment of connection. Kio eventually links arms with Janu and leads him to the school rooftop to face the rest of the group.
On the roof, Janu, Kio, Oki, Mori, and Roni convene. Kio reveals her "master plan" for the Culture Festival: a "Tsundere Dog-Maid café" titled "Prissy Bitches." The proposal is met with immediate disdain and refusal from Mori, Roni, and Oki. However, the situation takes a turn when Kio admits she has already committed the entire class to the event and has even secured maid outfits for the participants. The scene concludes with the group in disbelief at Kio’s manipulative and impulsive behavior.
