Summary (Click to reveal)

Janu visits the bookstore, intent on confronting Nirima about a recent incident involving Tuli’s panic attack, which Tuli had described as Nirima coldly abandoning her. Despite Nirima's initial aloofness, Janu presses her until she admits that she did indeed leave Tuli behind, citing her own arrogance and desire to one-up her friend as the cause for her selfish behavior.

Janu conveys that Tuli does not harbor resentment, but rather feels responsible for the situation herself. Nirima, visibly shaken by this revelation and her own feelings of guilt, resolves to apologize to Tuli. The conversation takes an unsettling turn when Janu mentions Tora having slapped Nirima during the event. Nirima is confused, insisting she already discussed these details with Janu during a previous conversation on the school roof, which Janu denies. As Nirima tries to recount the conversation, Janu experiences a mental break.

The narrative shifts to a surreal, hallucinatory "Light Event," where Janu finds himself in a room with a sentient banana and four TV-headed figures. One figure, Dayai, interacts with him, singing "I've Got No Strings" and desperately begging for sexual validation. The hallucination ends abruptly, returning Janu to the bookstore, where he has been physically looming over a terrified Nirima. After he regains his senses, he leaves abruptly, feeling deep shame and a desire to distance himself from his students to prevent further harm.
