Nirima briefly enters, mocking Anii for her lack of counting ability and revealing that Anii previously had to carry Janu to the festival. After Nirima departs, the atmosphere becomes intimate and slightly awkward as the two are left alone. Anii expresses insecurity about being watched while sweaty, prompting Janu to offer to let her work out in peace. However, Anii changes her mind and asks him to stay and watch. They agree that Janu will act as her counter, with Anii closing her eyes to feel more comfortable. Following a single set of sit-ups, Anii retreats to the kitchen, leaving Janu to reflect on her progress and his hope that she becomes less timid around him.
