Summary (Click to reveal)

Janu experiences a disorienting shift as he finds himself at his school in the dark, struggling with gaps in his memory and an intense fear of the dark. During this sequence, Janu engages in a meta-narrative reflection, acknowledging that he is a player-controlled protagonist in a story that belongs to him, yet he muses on the nature of his existence and his awareness of the user.

After the perspective shifts, Janu wanders into an empty classroom and encounters a white-haired girl who claims to have been waiting for him in a "special place" with a purple sky. Despite his confusion about her identity and his own lack of memory, Janu feels a compelling, inexplicable pull toward her. When she asks to hold him, the player chooses to comply. As she holds him, she reveals that for her, a "lifetime" is a period of endless, painful torture, and she apologizes for scarring Janu with the horrible things he has witnessed.

Janu chooses to forgive her, leading the girl to shift her appearance to resemble his aunt. The girl pushes Janu to confront his true feelings and desires, suggesting he should stop ignoring them. As the interaction progresses, Janu begins to feel physical sensations from her that he shouldn't be experiencing in this non-physical space. When Janu questions her about a past memory involving a train, the girl is overcome by a sudden, violent emotional breakdown, screaming in agony and begging for peace.

The scene concludes abruptly, and Janu finds himself back in the school corridor. He wanders out into the rain and encounters Omina, who has been following him to keep him safe after finding him walking dangerously in the middle of traffic. Omina insists on escorting Janu home to ensure he does not wander into harm's way again, and Janu begrudgingly agrees to let her take him home.
