Janu, having finished grading sociology tests, is approached in the school by Hana Yuna, who invites him to join the school’s book club. Janu discovers that the club currently consists only of Hana and Nokana, and that they require a third member to gain official recognition from the Student Council President, Anii. Though initially skeptical of the club's viability and his own available brain power, Janu feels pressured by the girls' desperation and ultimately agrees to join. The event concludes with the trio declaring the book club official, with the intention of informing Anii of their new status.
