Janu wakes up severely ill after a previous outing in the rain. Dayai takes charge of his recovery, insisting on caring for him despite his initial protests and attempts to return to bed. She moves him to the living room to let the sunlight help warm him, while engaging in a display of "aunt-like" caregiving that Janu finds both condescending and surprisingly comforting.
During the afternoon, Dayai attempts to prepare soup but accidentally spills it on Janu, leading to a frantic and comedic cleanup process. Afterward, the two bond while watching an marathon of an anime series. As the day ends, Janu experiences a moment of introspection, questioning if he deserves the life he has found since moving to Jhizonyu.
